Political Art Days 2025

– Poster and flyer design, music and public relations for the PADs 2025

“Welcome to the PADs”

The Political Art Days are an annual festival at the intersection of education and art, organized by CAMBIO e. V. in Dresden.

In preparation for the 10th anniversary of the PADs, I collaborated with the artist Laura Jager on the design of the new festival poster. My contribution to the poster design focused primarily on the typography (including the new PAD text logo), as well as some adjustments to the layout and color scheme of the draft.

Subsequently, I was responsible for designing the flyers, whose aesthetic was derived from the poster in order to create a consistent visual identity. I decided to print the event flyers in DIN A6 format without background coloring on sustainably produced grass paper, as these flyers were to be printed and distributed in larger quantities. The program flyer, in a trifold format, was printed in a smaller run and distributed on-site to visitors of the festival.

As part of the Political Art Days 2025, an event series called Political Art Nights (PAN) was also launched, and I was involved in the poster design for this series as well (see gallery).

In addition, I was closely involved in the festival’s public communications, including the creation of the accompanying web post I also had the pleasure of composing and producing a short song titled “Welcome to the PADs”. The song was used as musical accompaniment for video clips and was also intended to function as a jingle to promote the event.

For PADs 2025, four short social media videos were produced by Julien Deschamps using my background music. The videos are intended to capture the impressions of participants and organizers and to serve as promotion for future editions of the festival.
